THIS IS WHO WE ARE

This is what we do for the joy of the King,
For His peaceable Kingdom,
For a world in despair.
And this is why we bring any hope we can give,
Any bread from the table,
Any touch of His hand.
This is what we do.
This is where we go.
This is why we sing.
This is how we live.
This is who we are.

It's Been A Week . . .

So I've gotten in one full week of blogging now. (Well, technically that won't occur until nearly midnight.) A LOT of stuff has happened in one little seven-day chunk.

There was Groundhog Day. There was the Super Bowl. There were the presidential primaries. There was Fat Tuesday and Ash Wednesday. There was the Templeton children's health crisis (still in process, but improving). There was my parents-in-law's 61st wedding anniversary. There were the surgeries (Billy Baker's dad; our friend Daun Newman's). And there were all those milestones and mishaps that any reader could add to the list.

Granted, next week probably (hopefully!) won't be as dramatic--but still worth observing and commenting. I think I'll keep at it.
