At Diane Davis' request, I'm posting a few pictures of our Christmas decorations. It was fun--therapeutic even--to get it all "purtied up" for the holidays. (I say therapeutic, considering all the remodeling mess we've been living with for the last month.) I wish all of us bloggers could get together for real for an evening of live talk, eating, and caroling around the piano. (Okay, I know the caroling thing might be a turn-off for some of you, but you can hang out around the chips and dip while the rest of us sing! :) ) Merry Christmas to all!
BTW, today is the 41st anniversary of my baptism.

YES! Thanks for humoring me. I have always absolutely refused to get a fake tree, but yesterday while I was in costco the thought crossed my mind. Some of them now days look real. Yours is beautiful!
Ok...I was trying to get out of putting a Christmas tree up this year (I know, bah humbug) but seeing yours put me in the mood. My family says thank you..lol. And thank you for sharing the pictures of your house, I am sure it feels great to have it back.
We're on our way over for a Christmas Carol sing along.
Please have the cookies and cocoa ready.
Oh, and I prefer marshmallows in my cocoa.
OK, Heidi... You're in charge of the alto section!!
You may not want to do away with the plastic covering on your furniture until the grand kids are around 16.
